I've sent out a group gift! It's a lovely sculpted Lily to wear in your hair. If you didn't get it, check the notices history of the in-world group if you're in that. Or if you're in the subscriber group, come to the store and touch the sign. Choose "History" and then the message from today, 6/27. It will be sent to you again.



A few reminders: There are only a few days left to submit your pictures for the Store Poster contest. They must be in my Tuesday at 11:59pm SLT. The prizes are a 2000L$ Calla Store Card as well as a pack of your choice of all the releases for the month you're chosen. Not to mention your poster will be put up in Calla for everyone to see! You can read all the specifics here.

Bloggers & designers, if you are interested in receiving all the Calla releases in their fat-packs for free, please send me a note card with the subject "Calla Press Release Group - YOUR NAME" and whether you would like to join the in-world group or the subscriber group. (Please send your avatar key if you'd like to join the subscriber group.) Also include your blog url or your store url if you are a designer.

Calla Poster Contest

The Calla Poster Contest continues! There have been some fabulous entries, and I'm so excited about this!

Prizes:

Eliminating Colors

I'm going to be eliminating some of the colors (at least half of them) due to space issues. The 175 colors per style are just taking over the store!

I want you all to be able to get in your vote though. If you don't vote for your favorites, I may cut them out and you'll not be able to get them. So GO vote!

On a personal note, I'd like to thank all of you who have sent such wonderful notes and well-wishes over the last few months. The surgeries I've been having were awful as far as recovery time, and I really appreciate all the good thoughts and prayers that have been sent my way. I have one more scheduled on June 25th, and potentially one more after that if the spinal cord stimulator implant trial on the 25th works.

For those of you who don't know, I have 4 tears in 3 discs in my lower back. This happened in April of last year, and it's been an ongoing struggle since then. Some days are okay, while others are excruciatingly painful. None are good. I'm just plugging along as best I can, one day at a time. But your thoughts and prayers mean so much to me and I greatly appreciate all the support.

Versastyle: Photo Contest & 40% Back Sale!

Contest time! Real life has delayed the progress of the Versastyle project somewhat because Lily's had multiple surgeries, but we're now ready to get started!



This is your chance to see your photos on the website, in the upcoming Versastyle store catalog, and in the store itself! We aim to display a lot of posters in the store featuring Calla customers, and will be changing them regularly. We also want to compile photos of every hairstyle in the catalog, so there will be a lot of opportunities for you to get involved.



So what are we looking for exactly? Basically, we want to see how Calla customers are wearing their Calla products. We want pictures of you wearing your Calla hair, skins and accessories in different ways and different situations. Whether it's a photo of you wearing the Ash style in a glamourous photo shoot; chilling out on a beach in Yellow Tulip; dancing at a salsa club in Grape-vine; dressing up Christmas Rose with some cute neko ears or rocking out at a live music gig in Gloxinia - we want to see!



This is an ongoing monthly contest, and an opportunity for you to get really creative! We need both headshots and full body shots, and these can be either photoshopped or purely produced in-world photos using WL settings for effect.

You must be wearing Calla hair in the photos, and the styles must be current styles which are available to buy in the store now; and not previously discontinued styles. If you aren't sure which those are, come browse the store or look through the website.



In addition to your photo appearing in the various Calla advertising mediums, there are prizes! On the 1st of each month we will select the photos we want to use for the website/catalog/store.

If your photo is selected to be featured on our website or catalog, you will receive:

Calla Press Release Group

Attention Designers & Fashion Bloggers!

Calla now has an exclusive Press Release Group. All new releases will be sent out via this group, in their fatpacks. There is no fee to join this group. The only requirement is that you be:

A designer who wishes to use Calla products in your ads

or

A blogger who would like to receive Calla releases to review

There is an in-world group as well as a subscriber group that does not take up an in-world group slot.

To join, please do the following:

- Title a notecard "Calla Press Release Group - YOUR NAME"

- Inside the note, please put your name.

- State if you wish to join the IN-WORLD group or the SUBSCRIBER group.

- Include your avatar key if you wish to join the Subscriber group (having your avatar key helps me add you quicker rather than me having to look it up).

- A landmark/SLurl to your store

or

- The url to your blog

- Drop the notecard to Tigerlily Koi

Once your SLurl/url is verified, I will send an invite to you if you wish to join the in-world group. If you wish to join the subscriber group, I will sign you up and there will be nothing else you need to do! I will place a kiosk in the main Calla location for you to retrieve past notices.
