Three New and an Absence

There are three new styles in the store today! All of them are ponytails and are part of the regular styles collection.

Dahlia II was a request from a customer. She wanted Dahlia without the glasses. So that's what I did! I also added some flexi to the sculpted ponytail part hanging from the french braid to give it some movement.

The other two are side pulled ponies, one high and funky, and one sleek and elegant with a little bit of spunk. Pics of all of them below!

Also, I will be out of touch until February 23rd. I will be going in for surgery today, and plan to take it easy for the weekend and part of next week. (Gallbladder, nothing hugely serious, but something I've been putting off for nearly a year now.)

If you have any customer service issues, please leave me a note card if it's not urgent. If you need quicker assistance, please contact Katoria Stevenson, or any of the customer service reps. If you go into the store, there is a staff board which will show you which of them is online, and allow you to page them from there. The board is right by the front door, you can't miss it. Kat is able to have undelivered purchases resent to you, so if you're missing your items please send her a note card with your transaction information and she will get it to you as soon as possible.

Lily's Leavin'

I'm taking some much needed and long overdue leave time. I've been struggling with personal health issues (4 surgical procedures in just over 2 months, and another that still needs to be scheduled) and I need to take some recovery time.

Kitty needs a name!

Thursday of last week, the neighbor's kitty ended up in our house over night. Our two-year-old immediately claimed it as his. I spent all day Friday finding out which neighbor it belonged to, and Friday night the rightful kitty owner came to pick him up. Our son cried like his little heart was broken, and it was so pitiful that I cried, too. Needless to say, Saturday was spent on the great kitty hunt. We hit every shelter within an hour of us in every direction, and a few of the pet stores, and this was the only one that ranked as "Mine."

But so far, we're unable to come up with a name that our (very opinionated) two-year old will accept. So here are some pics, and if you have any suggestions at all, it'd be greatly appreciated! Kitty goes to the vet for a kitty check today, and they kinda want us to have a name for him.

Hunt Extendend, Group Freebie, RFL, and Lily's MIA!

Due to borkage and quite a number of reports of people losing the hunt items, I'm going to extend the hunt until Tuesday morning. I'll go around and gather up the boxes early am Eastern (probably 4am SLT) so you have a little while longer to pick them up if you lost them or haven't been able to get over there.

Apparently someone has made and been handing out a handy-dandy note card with all the box locations. I'm kinda glad, cause now I'll be able to find them.

Also due to my own borkage when coloring, I've sent out the Willow-herb style in the LTD Editions colors to the Calla Update Group and the Calla Subscribe-O-Matic group. If you haven't joined, you can go over to the store and touch the kiosk. I will be taking them out of the past notices tomorrow as well, so hurry if you want to catch them.

My RFL team raised 410,000 L$ last night! I want to thank all of you who came out to support the fundraiser, both with your bids and your spirits. There was quite a crowd! I must brag on my team a minute. We are the Designers in Seclusion team, and not only have we raised over $5,000 usd for the Relay in the last two months, most of my team members run full time businesses within Second Life as well. That's no small task, and I am so grateful for all the effort they have put into raising funds to fight cancer. They are an amazing group and I as Team Captain have had the immense honor and pleasure to work with them on a much deeper level and can assure you they are some of the best folks on the grid. So a huge thank you goes out to each of them as well! We're not done yet, though, so keep an eye out for more events from the DIS RFL team!

On a personal note, I won't be around quite as much the next two days. My youngest daughter turns 5 tomorrow so there are birthday plans tomorrow evening, but I will be around most of the daytime.

In case you haven't heard, I tore a ligament in my lower back about 2 1/2 months ago.
It's making my life very difficult; I can't empty the dishwasher or move laundry or lug around hay and horse feed. I'm not able to do much of anything and have been given the pretty handicapped parking tag. This is a huge blow, especially given the fact that I'd do just about anything to be out riding right now.

I've been in a constant state of a good steady 8 on the pain scale for a long time now. (I had to have an MRI on my RL birthday!) I go Wednesday for some kind of injection to numb the nerves in that area. It can take up to 18 months for a ligament to heal. They're going to explain it all and then do it so I'm not exactly sure what is entailed, or how long anything is supposed to take or what my limitations afterwards will be.

So please, if you have customer issues, send me a note card and I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can. Just know it may be a few days. If you need urgent help, you can contact Katoria Stevenson who is my new Store Manager, or Always Loveless who is also Calla Store Staff. If you purchased something and it didn't get delivered, please go touch the cash register at the front of the store to have it redelivered!

Today is Haedon's RL birthday! But don't tell her I told you. Like I told our group, she loves to get note cards. Read her profile! She asks for them! Please send her lots of birthday wishes via note card. Those fill her inventory up pretty fast. Plus with the capped IM situation, she'll be sure to get your messages if you do a note card.

And now I get to gush for a minute. Hae, you're the most awesome person I know. You're my best friend in the whole world and I'm so, so glad I have you in my life. You're the one person I know is going to be there no matter what, and that is priceless. This day is a celebration of you, and you so deserve it. I hope you have a hundred more, 'cause I'm gonna need you at least that long (you know, until I figure out the whole flexi match up thing). I am so blessed by our friendship and I love you so much. Happy birthday!

If I could, I'd make sure you had doritos and coffee in bed served by a naked butler every morning. (You know the ones.) Since those butlers are over in England someplace...

Hae's Eight..

Ok so, I didn't wanna do this. But for some strange reason I started to feel guilty about it. I was tagged by Marleen, and Truth... I think that's it. I hope that's it anyway. So here goes:

1. When I was in Kindergarten, our class got a brand new piano. During nap time I chose to sleep under it with my cousin who was in the same class. She dared me to carve my name into one of the legs with a paper clip. I did. My whole name, first and last. When I was done, she got up and told on me.

2. I'm an insomniac.. But when I finally do sleep, I can sleep anywhere. Through anything. It's just the falling asleep part I can't get down.

3. I have 1g plugs in my earlobes. Some people don't know what those are, so here's a helpful picture of someone with them. Mine are smaller than that though, as I tried to stay on the girly side rather than the gross side. I like to stick pens through them and jiggle them around while I fill out forms at the doctors office.

4. I can juggle up to 6 objects at once, but nothing bigger than an orange.

5. I can't do basic math without counting on my fingers. I can do multiplication, and division and fractions ffs.. But ask me what 8 + 7 is and you'll see my fingers wiggle.

6. I write erotic short stories.

7. I like traffic. But only when I'm alone in my car. It gives me time to relax and sing as loud as I want to.

8. One of my 8 facts.. is a lie.
