Versastyle: Photo Contest & 40% Back Sale!

Contest time! Real life has delayed the progress of the Versastyle project somewhat because Lily's had multiple surgeries, but we're now ready to get started!



This is your chance to see your photos on the website, in the upcoming Versastyle store catalog, and in the store itself! We aim to display a lot of posters in the store featuring Calla customers, and will be changing them regularly. We also want to compile photos of every hairstyle in the catalog, so there will be a lot of opportunities for you to get involved.



So what are we looking for exactly? Basically, we want to see how Calla customers are wearing their Calla products. We want pictures of you wearing your Calla hair, skins and accessories in different ways and different situations. Whether it's a photo of you wearing the Ash style in a glamourous photo shoot; chilling out on a beach in Yellow Tulip; dancing at a salsa club in Grape-vine; dressing up Christmas Rose with some cute neko ears or rocking out at a live music gig in Gloxinia - we want to see!



This is an ongoing monthly contest, and an opportunity for you to get really creative! We need both headshots and full body shots, and these can be either photoshopped or purely produced in-world photos using WL settings for effect.

You must be wearing Calla hair in the photos, and the styles must be current styles which are available to buy in the store now; and not previously discontinued styles. If you aren't sure which those are, come browse the store or look through the website.



In addition to your photo appearing in the various Calla advertising mediums, there are prizes! On the 1st of each month we will select the photos we want to use for the website/catalog/store.

If your photo is selected to be featured on our website or catalog, you will receive:

• A L$1000 Calla Gold Store Card (gives you a bonus 20% credit back on every L$ purchase in the store for 3 months)
  
• A regular 5-pack or 1 Sultry color of your choice, of all of the new releases that month.

If we choose your photo to be used in the store posters, you will receive:-

• A L$2000 Calla Platinum Store Card (gives you a bonus 30% credit back on every L$ purchase in the store for 3 months)
  
• A regular pack/color of your choice of all of the new releases that month.

How to enter:

• Flickr: Upload your photos to the Calla flickr group: Please label your photos with "Versastyle"
• In-world: You can drop your photos into the Versastyle Photo Contest Drop Box in the store - please make sure you have included your avatars name in the texture name, *especially* if you did not take the photo yourself! Also be sure that your texture/photo is full permissions so we can use it!

Please do not randomly drop the photos on myself, Tigerlily or any of the Calla Store Staff! We cannot guaranteed photos sent directly to us will be judged if they get lost in our inventories, so please use the Drop Box or Flickr!



To celebrate the launch of this series of contests, Calla is having a special bonus credit event this weekend: Wear your Calla Store Card when making any hair purchase in L$ and you will receive 40% of the price back in store credit!
