We had these ready to go on Friday evening, but that stupid inventory bug the Lindens created set us back. We decided to hold off until they fixed it. But it was pretty apparent yesterday they weren't gonna fix it when they said (do they ever) and you gals were standing around asking when the new stuff was gonna be out. So we went ahead and did it. 'Cause we love you like that. And who are we to keep you away from your hair crack? When you need a fix, you need a fix!
Here they are:
Bluebell - When I was working on this one, I asked Hae to look at it. Her response was, "It looks like I'mSoPreddy grew up, got together with Naturwhatever and that's what happened." I think she might have actually said they had sex, but it was a while ago, and I forget exactly. But she's right. It's got flexi, and doesn't have as much flippy as Nasturtium but it does have that same flippy thing going on.
Bugloss - bu·gloss (byōō'glôs', -glŏs') - It's a funky kinda name, so there's how you say it. This one actually started out as just a quick something I threw together to wear to the Linden Lifestyles Venetian Carnivale Masquerade Ball because we were limited on the number of prims we could wear. So this one was...shoot I can't remember. Twenty prims? I really didn't intend to sell it, but I kept wearing it, and it's really very pretty. So you get it! For the ball I dressed as a monarch butterfly. So after I decided to put it out, I made the little monarch butterfly jewel hair stick. (Which also went out as a group freebie, check your notices if you didn't see it.) I'm not so great with the tiny little prims, but that was kind of fun.
Double Daisy - Hae. Rocks. The. Piggies. If these aren't just the cutest, swingy, early 40s looking piggies ever! They are so adorable on everyone I've seen them on. The shape is just incredible. The bands are color change. If you're into the vintage look, these are a must have.
Garden Daisy - This one is just as adorable as Double Daisy, sans piggies. Cause let's face it. You can't wear piggies all the time. This one reminds me of Haedon's Day Lily but dressier, and more vintage.
Maiden Fern - Fern got a make over. Cause, really, it needed it. The braid is wider, which a lot of people had asked for. The bangs are fuller, the tail is non-tapered flexi. Of course, the band stayed color change.
Mezeron - I had someone put this demo on yesterday and ask me "Am I wearing this hair right, or is my head wrong?" At first I thought she meant it wasn't fitting right and wante me to check it for her. Then she said, "The ponytail is kind of to the side." Yes, it is kind of to the side. It's not way to the side. But just enough to give it that side-pony look. It's flexi, and the bands are color change. And it's just downright fun.
Ranunculus - ra·nun·cu·lus (rə-nŭng'kyə-ləs) (This one needed it, too.) This hair happened because I was sitting down at our boathouse, and I thought what it really needed was a sunhat on the dock. Like someone had gone off and forgotten their hat, or it blew off as they were in the boat leaving the dock. (Okay, I have no life. It's now official.) So I started making this sunhat on the dock, and it turned out pretty cute. And I thought, "This needs hair, cause you can't ever wear just a hat with hair because the hair goes all through the hat and looks funny." So, up I went, and made hair to go with it. There will be a hatless version (by request) of this style out in the next release. Oh! And the band and bow are color change.
Water Willow - This one didn't turn out like anything I had in mind when I started. It was going to be a version of the sunhat style, but with ringlets. That went badly. So I started playing with it because as far as I was concerned, I was throwing the whole thing away. And it kept getting better. I really messed with this one for a while. The more I did, the more the hat didn't work. So I started playing with the hat. And out came the cowboy hat. So I was all pround. Until my friend said, "You need to do one with a tie." He was right. So there it is. The hair really has that "Sorry, I'm a little sweaty. I've been out riding." kind of look. The hair is flexi. I did not do the band color change, because it's a cowboy hat. But since it's copy/mod, feel free to color it however you'd like.
We also moved 11 of our styles to the bargain bins. Some haven't been big hits, some have just been around forever and it's time to make room for something more. They're half price, so have a look. I'm not going to put the pictures here but you can see them on the Discounted Styles page.
